This next week and the last week in November seem to be the cheapest times of the year to travel - we're expecting pretty cold weather when we get there. ;-)

When we're there, we have loads of things planned in that cost practically nothing - the free ferry to the statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Highline and a walk over Brooklyn Bridge into Dumbo are all things I love doing that won't cost a penny so I'm planning to fill our days with things like that.

Foodwise - we know where Target is so we buy snacks and drinks from there to keep us going and we don't eat anywhere fancy apart from that.

I book through British Airways which is way more reasonable than you'd think as they do regional flights but you could probably get cheaper booking flights and hotel separately - my husband just likes to know I'm booked through someone he trusts as he's not coming with us.

I feel like I should write a whole post about it. ;-)

It certainly is true ;-) - It's greener now than it was in the Summer at the moment as it was dead and yellow due to the heatwave we had.

We're 11 degrees celcius today which I think is around 50 degrees farenheit x x
