The time to recover an ext3 file system after an unclean system shutdown does not depend on the size of the file system or the number of files; rather, it depends on the size of the journal used to maintain consistency. The default journal size takes about a second to recover, depending on the speed of the hardware.
Please keep providing such valuable information.
Thanks,
Kevin

I support a small business that is running its apps on SQL Server Express.
Can’t SQL Express 2012r2 have any sort of high availability?
I need to synchronize Master SQL Server Express 2012 database on other SQL Server 2012 slave database on a Windows 2012R2 server.
Is it possible to sync SQL Server Express 2012 slaves and master databases or do I need to install SQL Standard Edition as master on the server?
What are the options to sync/Replicate?
This can be achieved by creating group of log files together, so that LGWR will automatically writes them to all the members of the current on-line redo log group. If any one group fails then database automatically switch over to next group. It degrades performance.
Very useful article, if I run into challenges along the way, I will share them here.
Merci Beaucoup,
