The nastiness of this primary is frustrating, and Romney's hands certainly aren't clean. Yet "constant lying and attacking" is a rather exaggerated assessment of his campaign. Newt's attacks on Romney have been far more vicious and dishonest, and while Santorum took the high road for a while, now even he's succumbing to temptation.

"The same day, National Review Online, the American Spectator, and pundit Ann Coulter all published missives railing against the former House Speaker. Drudge compiled all the content on his site late Wednesday night. They, along with Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin, have been cheerleading for a Romney candidacy since there were still eight candidates in the running."

Not entirely true - NRO's editors are pro-Romney, but they've also been publishing criticism of Romney consistently thru the whole campaign. And the Spectator hasn't had any noticeable pro-Romney slant.

Thanks. I'm particularly disappointed to see the approach Breitbart has taken to the controversy, especially considering that, as a GOProud board member and someone the rest of GOProud takes seriously, he's presumably in a position to offer them constructive criticism about how not to alienate the rest of the movement.

Toni, your article doesn't even try to address the actual reasons why people oppose GOProud. Here is a summary, which I hope helps: http://www.redstate.com/calvinfreiburger/2011/08/...

Darned if I know....nevertheless, it seems you're now able to get comments up on here, so how 'bout that demonstration?

Er, then how did you publish this comment?

Yep. You got me. I'm really a member of the Globalist Alliance of Evil. Just don't make me show my decoder ring or reveal the secret handshake.

Please demonstrate how either the above comment or my post say anything that is inconsistent with the Constitution. And to clarify: exactly what are you warning us about that we allegedly don't know?

Yes, the decision to green-light the operation that killed UBL was the correct one from a conservative perspective. That doesn't mean Obama is conservative, or even that he did something particularly remarkable by authorizing it - the investigation has been ongoing for years, UBL's death or capture has been a US goal since 9/11, and no president who has a semi-competent grasp of political reality (this apparently doesn't include Paul) would dare risk the outrage if word got out that he missed his opportunity to nail him.
