Here is a very good article, ZeroNineSierra:

Ben Carson in His Own Words

My own personal take is that Dr. Carson is a brilliant, astute surgeon with many good, common sense values that appeal to conservatives. However, the problem is that he does not have a very long history of firm conservative principles, and that seems to explain his somewhat contradictory statements from time to time. It rather appears that he makes up his responses as he feels his way along this political path. I will not vote for him in the primaries after seeing and hearing him in action.

Ted, at first I thought that Dr. Carson was good, but after reading a history of his morphing into what he purports to be today, I've changed my mind. He is not deeply rooted in conservative principles and seems to "adjust" to whatever way the wind is blowing. He is rather an unknown quantity and could go either way depending upon the circumstances. We need someone that is strong and resolute.

Obama Dares GOP: Go Ahead, ‘Have a Vote on Whether What I’m Doing Is Legal…I Will Veto’

“So in the short term, if Mr. McConnell, the leader of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House, John Boehner, want to have a vote on whether what I’m doing is legal or not, they can have that vote.  I will veto that vote, because I’m absolutely confident that what we’re doing is the right thing to do.”

Obama-Nominated Judge: New Illegal Immigrants Must Be Released

Even the liberal Jonathan Tobin has this to say, “If liberal federal judges and the president are determined to trash the rule of law in this manner, we are on the verge of a full-blown constitutional crisis,” said Jonathan Tobin, an editor of Commentary magazine, which generally favors large-scale immigration.

That is a "jerkish" conclusion. I just commented to Racer Jim's post about this very subject. There is a big difference in "flashing" the Muslim gang sign and using your index finger while speaking and making a point. I've done it and I'm sure many others here have also. Arpaio, Cruz and Palin were in speaking mode and using their index finger to make special emphasis. That is unlike Obama who "flashed" the sign to a group while walking past them. I very much doubt that the three whose pics you posted even know that this is used in a bad way by Muslim gangs. Query: Why are you so interested in trying to defend Obama? Or, are you rather interested in reporting fairly? I honestly don't know.

RacerJim, exactly right. Obama "flashed" the sign just as Muslim gangs do. Palin, Cruz and Arpaio used their forefingers while speaking and making a point. Most of us have done that one time or another. There is a BIG difference between that use and "flashing" as a speedy gesture while walking or passing by.

AmazingGrace, I also was a member of Youth for Christ not long after it was launched back in the 1940's. We had a chapter in my home town and attended "prayer band" meetings every week.

Many, many years later when we moved to Arizona we belonged to a Baptist Church pastored by Dr. Cedric Sears, who had been head of Chicagoland Youth for Christ in the early days. Dr. Sears, Billie Graham (before he became famous), and several other notables were preacher boys that toured England and other places preaching the gospel of Christ.

Dr. Sears used to relate stories of those early days. He has since gone to heaven but was one of the most wonderful Bible teachers ever. It was such a privilege to sit under his ministry. In fact, we never wanted to take a vacation lest we miss out on something.

Also I notice that his hair in the front is quite dark, considering the fact that he is going overall gray, even in the front. This is a real makeup job. The intense sweating is not good.

Why does Jindal need to be voted out by people "in his district'? He is the duly elected governor of the state of Louisiana. There is not the NBC requirement for governors
