Excellent information, Carrie! I've chosen PR/marketing as my career path and am thoroughly enjoying leaning all that I can, especially as I prepare to return to school for this very career.
I think it's great, even though I don't live in Canada. I deal with press releases on a daily basis and most of them are really long. The key information is usually in the first one to three paragraphs anyway, so why not be more concise and cut the fluff?

I don't subscribe to any right now. I have a code for a free Julep box so I may do that after I move. I really like their nail polish, but at $20 a month, it's not in the budget for just three items. Ipsy sounds really good, though, especially for just $10.

I think celebrating Tu B'Av is a great idea. I've never been a fan of Valentine's Day, even when I was in relationships, but I'm even less a fan since my ex cheated on me three years ago. Today is just a regular day for me. Sure, I put a cute photo on Instagram and sent a little card to my bff and her daughter, but I love them everyday.
Amen! I'm single and not looking to change it any time soon, yet there's a ton of a pressure to conform. I had a wedding board on Pinterest, but I recently deleted it. I think having a board is harmless, though. I have a board for a house I'll likely never own, but it's not a weird obsession. There's a fine line between thinking and planning. Pinterest is thinking, putting a deposit down for July 2021 is planning.
I can totally relate. NYE has never been a fun evening for me. I don't stay up late and I've never been kissed on the holiday, as seems to be tradition for everyone.
