I agree. Furthermore if those women instead would stand behind their men and really encourage them those men would be better leaders and comments like hers would be laughable.

This is how my husband and I do things too. It is unspoken though. He has been known to help out with laundry and even dishes to though when I am really sick, but as soon as I can get around that ends. I like cleaning it all my way anyway, and I will never, ever mow the lawn or change a tire. So it all seems fair to me. I just sit back and enjoy his strong muscles when he does his job. I like men to be men, and I just can't understand why women ever thought it would be better to be equal in EVERYthing.

I agree. Christians should be in government. We need godly people in political positions taking a stand for the truth.

Joseph was in a political position as second to Pharaoh. King David was leading the nation of Israel so he was in government. Daniel was in government in an ungodly nation. God chose these men and more to be in those positions for his glory.

I agree. I wasn't able to do it all either. It always caused too much marital conflict which is what finally convinced my husband to stop sending me to work. I felt really bad, but now things are as they should be. He appreciates what I do at home, and I appreciate that he works so hard for the family. It's so much easier for me to take care of everything here and I don't feel like he should be doing so much more around the house because he IS working. He IS doing his share and I'm doing what I feel I was made to do. And I''m raising my girls to see that he IS doing his part too. That's why Daddy doesn't have daily chores ~ His chore is his job. Don't get me wrong there are things he does like mow the lawn and clean out the garage, but those are far from daily. He throws a load of laundry in and manages to help out a lot when my four kids and I are all sick. Me staying home works so much better for us. Thank God this is where I get to be.

I love how you two can give really meaty responses. I'm much simpler when people press that the person was born that way. I simply say, "Yes, we are all born into sin. If my inclination is lying, should I keep lying? If my inclination is murdering, should I keep murdering?" People answer these questions in the negative and it literally ends the conversation. But I still really like the meatier answer. Bravo, for so eloquently articulating the truth!

Great idea! I pray for the neighbors I know but I never thought of praying for them all. What a difference it could make!

Interesting. Might have to look into getting some soon.

Doctors are good, and surely have good intentions. Pharmaceuticals on the other hand are what I am most suspicious of and many doctors tend to rely on them fairly heavily. So for common ailments I also prefer to use something more natural.

Thank you for posting this. We all need to weigh our options carefully.
