I don't eve trust those professional reviewers. As a reader, I trust the majority or reviewers, which means unprofessional reviewers. As a unprofessional reviewer/blogger myself, I trust my peers.
I never aspired to be a "professional" reviewer. Since I don't make money, my opinion should hold even more value for people who read my reviews.

I really enjoyed this book. I haven't read The Shadow and Bone series, yet. I own them all and planned to read them. Maybe I will just wait a bit, I forget things so I might not catch the spoiler...maybe. Anyways, great review!

I loved this book. I totally understand that it wasn't for everyone especially toward the end of the book and all that revealed.

I am so guilty of buying new releases and then not reading them. I don't pre-order much. I am sad I missed the $9 deal for Queen of Shadows, I definitely would have pre-ordered that. (probably just so that it could sit on my shelf while I inundate my schedule with arcs.)

Wow! Compared to your way of keeping track my methods are prehistoric. Lol. I read books really close to their release date unless 1) I get them after the pub date or 2) I am so ecited to read them that I squeeze them in early. I admit to being late on a pub at least twice a month. I don't read ahead enough to get caught up.
