I couldn't stand the heavy 911 references or how Superman never seemed to notice that people were dying all around him. Also how does the government still not know who Clark is when the Kents were the only family on earth visited by Zod? There were a lot of other disappointing issues with Man Of Steel, none of which was him killing Zod at the end. I read Goyers explanation forit in a interview and agree that it makes a more convincing motivation for his no killing rule moving forward. You can see it here... http://www.comicbookmovie.com/news/?a=81889
I was hoping mankind would have more of a sense of awe towards Kal and didn't think Superman had really earned his name but I get it lol they were trying to emphasize on how man can really become subject to fear...
The moment the "you are not alone" broadcast aired I was stoked by how scary and alien it really felt but ultimately wish we didn't already know who was behind it!
Anyways great review :)

I'm really starting to love Roy Harper as a character and agree with Lex Luther that he is the most resourceful aka perfect soldier. I totally didn't expect him to become Arsenal but find it incredibly fitting. I also really enjoyed Blue Beettle's bit about having never met Ted Kord.
As far as there being too many characters, I still have no clue who the guy with superboy on that picture is lol by the way is Impulse aware of whats going on?

Have the last scene of the season five finale be of a jedi teaching to a group children... "And those are the untold tales of the clone wars". The Jedi's face would be revealed as a middle aged Luke Skywalker. This would set the stage for Lucas Arts to start a new series based on the "New Jedi Order" book collection...
Same look n tone n just keep the comedy for the upcoming Star Wars Detours http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yRNXFhboBI
As far as the episode, I loved it but really didn't expect the brothers to take a beating like that! I really feel like this is Ben's story arc not Anakin's so I definitely would be surprised if anyone else put an end to Darth Maul.

I knew Asami and Iroh would team up but I was kinda dissapointed there was no hints to a future romance between them! It was pretty cool to see his fire (higher) bending lol
It looks like the metal benders will be back next season and that the avatar can indeed return powers!
But the real highlight of this finale was by far Tarrlok and Amon's storyline... The reveal of his identity really shocked me as most of us especially on this site thought he would end up being Mako and Boylin's dad. I was seriously thrown off when he took of his mask and had those scars but I like the way it all played out. I truly and honestly did not expect for Tarrlok to sacrifice himself to take out his brother after all of this but I understand his motives... that was one of the darkest stories I've ever seen on a kids show. I can't help but wonder if one of them wouldn't make it out seeing how they're both such powerful water benders and that they were surrounded by water.
Next season I'm looking forward to see Iroh join the team and them possibly exploring the rest of the world with Bumi... I can't wait till book two starts :P

There was a whole lot of love triangles going on this episode but all that drama was completely balanced out by some raw and incredible action scenes!
Beifong's sacrifice reminded me of the last airbender's finale... didn't toph do the same thing?
Who is the antibender with the moustache? He keeps showing up n getting facetime as if he's a person of interest.
I always wondered if that's how Aang would restore the air nomads but seeing how he didn't do that I kinda have my doubts whether anyone has the power to create benders.
Last thing is did I miss last weeks Young Justice n Korra reviews?
