I really enjoy hanging on every word of Wayne Zurl. I guess I am of the old school who just loves a guy in uniform. ;-) Seriously, I've read New Prospect and it's fabulous. Sam Jenkins is unforgettable character and I want to get to know him better by reading more of Wayne.

As for your not knowing much about marketing, Wayne, you are doing excellent. You are natural-born hawker; people do tend to relate to you (must be that sassy cap). :-)

I started out buying mainstream authors, of course, but now I only BUY books from e-Book authors who have become friends through various sites and through my celebrity interviews. Since I'm an author as well as a Top 500 Amazon reviewer, Amazon made me an honorary Vine member which means I get four free books and/or products to review each month, so I don't need to buy the mainstream. Plus authors ask me to review their books in exchange for a copy. I get so many offers that I can't accept them all.

I love promoting as many new authors as I can, in addition to promoting my own books, hoping these authors I review might also get my books.

PR is a lot of hard work, but I try to mix it with pleasure. So, NO, I don't follow the rule of seven... More like "word of blog." (Meaning I read about it enough times and I'm tempted to get a particular book that catches my fancy...due to content, cover, author recognition or genre.)
