I just read Alyson Noel's first Immortals book, Evermore, and now I want to give it away, too. =P
Working on this week's TTT also made me realise how many of my old books are more trouble than they're worth. I keep books out of habit, because I expect to reread them in the future, but I know that I won't be reading any of the novels by the author who hit #1 on my Tenner!

I had to laugh when I read the line about not being able to photograph a book because it was in another room with sleeping people. It reminds me of the time my family hosted some guests, who took over my room, and I couldn't get to my books at night. It wasn't really a big deal, but the whole time they were there, I kept thinking of stuff I needed to do with my trapped books. LOL!

The only Jennifer Crusie book I've read is The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes. (I hope I got the title right!) I agree that she has a great voice and I liked her women characters. Even the one who was just there for comic relief was done really well.
On a general note, I think it's wonderful when reading leads to eating. I'd still like to have a tea party like the one in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe someday! LOL!
