We're at exactly the same stage! It can be frustrating but for us it's so amazing to have him even try and communicate using words instead of grunts or gestures. Well done to him! Hope the next ST appointment goes well, will be thinking of you! We have one next Tuesday, no idea what to expect this time!

Jen, I can't really say any more than everyone already has done! Well done for writing this post. I've been a bit out of the loop recently so am not quite sure what's going on, but everything seems to have suddenly kicked off. It's such a shame. Since I started blogging almost a year ago I've received so much support from this community and it seems to be on the verge of implosion. Respect is the key word here, and you've hit the nail right on the head. xxx

Well, I don't think I can really say much after Tara's awesome comment! But just wanted to say that if you do totally give up blogging I will miss your writing loads.

I'm not quite sure what's been going on lately in the blogging community but I'm reading more and more posts about people becoming disillusioned with blogging because of bullying and backstabbing. It's such a shame, especially after the real sense of 'community' that I felt characterised the CyberMummy conference.

Follow your heart Jay, and do what you need to do. But I will miss your online blogging presence a lot (had best get myself of Twitter much more often to keep up with you!) x

Sending you big hugs, it's so frustrating for you both when they can't express themselves. I don't blame you for going out afterwards! Tantrums aside (the Bear started having them at 13 months, and I had to deal with the "just you wait!" thing too - gah) he sounds like such a wonderful little boy!
