EXACTLY. I'm a humanities-brained person. I've HEARD OF Tesla, and Darwin, and Einstein, and Galileo, but damned if I could pick them out of a line-up. (Likewise many of the Old White Men of the literary canon. I'd need hints. How the fuck am I supposed to know Thomas Hardy from TS Eliot?)

I visibly recognize more contemporary individuals, but that doesn't mean I know anything about them. (I do try to learn about individuals who actually DO things, but still.)
