Interestingly enough I get pretty good reviews from reviewers. It's from the buying public that I have received a few mixed messages. I have had some that say they loved the story, connected with the characters, and loved the ending. Scroll down and there will be one that says, characters could have been fleshed out more, and I would have like to know what happened to so and so. I've determined I can not please everyone. All I can do is write a good book, and hope for the best.
Thanks Ella for the nice "spotlight". You're the best!
As an author I'm hurt by this practice, and as a reader, I'm disappointed. I too have had these 1 and 2 star reviews that clearly shows the reader didn't even read the book, let alone a few pages. They are vague, inappropriate and many times are not a verified purchase - which leads me to believe they got it when it was offered as free during a kindle promotion. I've heard that some authors who are feeling jealous are asking others to do this. That really bites! Yes, I agree, Amazon will do nothing about the inappropriate 1-2 stars but will take away a 5 star for no reason. Go Figure!
