Either way I'm personally grateful for the posts and never expected to grow the fan base Ive grown, it literally would not have happened if not for these spotlights

Yeah that's true enough -- hadn't thought of that pretty much at all actually

And yep, sad but true -- to be honest my thoughts were looking for something to offset the whole "being afraid of trying new music and musicians" idea that's fine around . But then again you're right, it's not gonna really get anyone else to try it out cause it doesn't actually address the problem

Pretty true about the spotlight music too. Hopefully it'll pick up a little bit now that the hiatus is here (maybe)

Despite its waning popularity however it's still an incredible outlet for young budding musicians since there are still a decent amount that will look, which is way better than zero

What about something like a monthly or bi-monthly music competition of sorts? Challenging people to remix certain show songs for example? Just an idea anyways

That's a good idea. This was just more of my own personal opinion than anything, I'm just a bit disappointed that quite a few really good artists are often overlooked due to the music bloat we have
