I would have said something like: the "something more" you're seeking is out there...and you'll get through the bumps along the way. You have more purpose than you realize.

Those bumps were important for my own growth and learning, but it sure would have been nice to know that the "rainbow" I sought really exists! Thankfully, it does. Thanks for the thought-provoking post, Colin!
