I'm so, so lucky I get to stay home with my kids. I rarely have to get my exercise in before my husband goes to work. I am not good at mornings. Good for you for getting it done Bari! I have so much admiration for people who really have to sacrifice to get their exercise in.

I love Words With Friends! I'm terrible at Draw Something but I keep playing. Scramble With Friends is my favorite game.

I get so frustrated when someone implies they have a better idea of how I should feel than I do. Grump away! ;)

I have six kids. We have found out the gender ahead of time twice. The first time was with our third child--we had two girls one year apart and this baby would be born a year after the 2nd was. So we mainly wanted to know if we needed to get boy clothes. And we did need to get boy clothes. We also found out with our sixth, coincidentally also a boy. I have scheduled c-sections, so the date and time are not a surprise (if all goes as it should anyway). It was fun for us to talk about what we might have and the surprise at delivery was really fun. If we were to ever have a 7th we would not find out, I don't think.

I had the same thought about the overall vibe--so positive. I'm sure people had moments of frustration or cattiness, but really, I felt like everyone was friendly and just happy to be there. What a treat! It was nice to meet you Friday night.
