I am excited to hear more of your story this month. You are so right about the world taking what is beautiful and making it less than complete because of unreal expectations. LOVE this! We do made up stories as well and our family is every character from the Queen (me), the king ( Daddy) to the castle dog (our puppy) with one princess and three princes in between! It is sweet to jut enjoy the moment, but maybe you could record just one story telling for your children or have them illustrate it when you tell it. What beautiful memories for them!

I loved this take on STORY.

I love seeing kids in the sand. It really is one of the greatest things! I am seeing it first hand this week and every moment brings something new. The delight in digging, the squeals when they see a crab, the tasty shrimp!

And i pray they remember the fun times and not the sunburns, hungry tummies, and crabs that lose a leg! :)

And you might be nuts, but even though they might not remember that cruise, you will. That is not nuts at all! ;) We have wanted to take a cruise ever since we got married. Would you do it again?

I love this post. It so beautifully describes how important community is. Each relationship is just another opportunity to be the hands and feet for Jesus. You never know just what word or gesture can make the difference in someone's life. I am so thankful for each relationship God has blessed me with in this season of life.

Oh my, this brings a catch in my throat. I remember taking pictures of my last little one nursing...something to hold on to knowing that this was a stage that was gone for good. And what a reminder to love the stage you are in, for each age seems to bring new delights to enjoy! And new ways that they will need you! Also...she looks so cute!
