Thanks for writing this. Fasting and sacrifice are all about the heart. This is repeated throughout scripture and tradition. When I realize this it is easier to move toward fasting that is for the glory of God and not my own.

What a great list. I think the take away is figure out why something is on the do not list,and then make your best decision. I am sure every family's list is little different.
