Hi Mary and Kerry,
I had never heard of this song or this singer before today. Is she Canadian? I think it is marvelous how words to a song and the singer herself can capture the emotions so many different people feel. Congrats on another guest post, Kerry.
Thank you both for a great post!

Mary,
I really hadn't heard of them before. (I must not be up on my music). They did sound kind of angry...
I'll have to listen to more and decide.

Great reminder! As a writer, I'm frequently seated at my computer. I need to get up and move around more, getting my heart rate going! Thanks for jogging me out of my comfort zone!

I LOVE this! I was a part-time Spanish teacher in both elementary and high school. While I had my own classroom in HS, I took a cart into visit the rooms of the kids. I always enjoyed seeing decorated classrooms and projects in progress! Great job!

Hi Catherine,
With your easy-to-follow instructions, even I could make this scrumptious taco salad! We have salads every night so this will definitely be one to add to our list. I have loved taco salad since the early 90s when I lived in San Antonio. Unfortunately, I moved a decade later. But the taco salad remains one of my favorites. Thanks for this healthy alternative recipe!

Sara, I like how you are conquering your goals, approaching them one by one. I love crafts and reading about crafty people! My own goal is to finish the book I'm currently working on by March 31 of this year. It's called Mobility Matters! Stepping Out in Faith. I have a progressive vision impairment and am at the place right now where I'm moving forward, accepting my need for a cane. It's one of the biggest hurdles one who is facing blindness comes up against. I start at the crossroads where one makes the decision and take readers (my target reader is vision-impaired or friends of someone who is vision-impaired), take them through preparations of mobility and humorous experiences with a take-away life / faith lesson. That's it. I'm praying I'll write it in a easy-to-read, practical, and entertaining style that will encourage others to take that first step. I love January and hearing about goals of other people and sharing my own. Thanks!
