When have six children. Our last two have been better sleepers. Sleeping through the night (6-7 hrs) on their own by 4 or 5 weeks. However, even with nursing all of my children on demand our children have been very close together. 16, 17, 18, 23, and 13 months apart. Nursing on demand does not guarantee that your babies will be spaced far apart. This is a little TMI, but I've always started my period at 4 months postpartum.
