Looks like you're having a great time at Fitbloggin! I found your blog today through Julie and Anne, can't wait to follow! Sorry about the stomach woes though, I've totally been there :-/

I love an active vacation like this! One of the hardest things for me on vacation is finding time to get a workout in before doing all the fun things I want to do. But working out IS fun! I mean what's not fun about a bike ride through some wineries?

I have such an addiction to sugar too, it's true...the way your brain responds to it can be similar to a drug addiction! Serious stuff. I've been trying to break the habit too. Lately I've let myself eat more sugary cereals than normal, and I've actually noticed a difference in my workouts. I'm much more sluggish and they're harder to get through. Not worth it! I need to feed my body wholesome foods like you said. Gotta get back on track.

I love my asics! They have quite a few miles on them now though and it's probably time for another pair. The new line is super cute, I want them!

Sometimes I wish I had a running buddy, but most days I enjoy the time to myself. Running a couple races with my roommate (who is a faster runner than me) really pushed me though, so I should probably incorporate more time running with others!

That was virtual torture. Literally. I want all of those cookies right now! Can't possibly bake them fast enough. Especially the fluffernutter chocolate gobs. Genius.

I completely agree with a lot she has to say. Just on my own experience, in the past when I tried to just run longer and not faster, I stagnated with weight loss progress. Incorporating strength and more HIIT workouts has helped me to really see a change in my appearance, on my way to being more toned. I should read one of her books!

That looks like so much fun! I'm a fan of the Jillian Michael's workouts...also challenging. Normally a few minutes of strength, couple minutes of cardio, and a minute of abs. Great circuit workouts.
