Hey! I'm planning on bringing my cat home with me from Chile. What drugs did you give your cat for the trip? I've heard mixed things about giving cats drugs, but my cat is SUCH a meower, I'm afraid that if i don't give him something, he'll be crying the entire 11 hour flight and everyone on the plane will hate me. :(

Kyle, I remember reading your blog from start to finish before I moved to Chile. I was working and it was so slow so I would just sit at the computer and read and read and read. It was fascinating to me because it was the first time I had read anything negative about Chile, but it was a good thing to read because I feel like it really prepared me for some aspects of life here and made me stop idealizing the country like I had while studying here. I still think about your San Cristobal story when I go jogging there and always bring my pepper spray.
