Thank you for the recipes for us to try! We are a gluten-free family (well, except my oldest, who refuses), with half of us casein-free as well. Holidays certainly make us be creative. And bake tons of food to bring everywhere! Have a Merry Christmas!

I understand all too well how sensory issues can affect simple, everyday things. Let alone serving at mass! So glad your son did it! He will get better and better! That is such a huge accomplishment. So happy for you!

I have a little guy that enjoys drawing weapons! I will show him this book to see if he is interested! Thanks for the recommendation.

LOVE this! All of our boys are GFCF, along with me. Do you mind if I ask if you are able to tolerate the low gluten hosts for Communion? We thought we did, but I began noticing my feet tingling again after a couple months of taking the low gluten hosts. :( My oldest son recently tested as reacting to all parts of wheat, not just gluten, so I thought it best for us to go back to just receiving Jesus' Precious Blood. Just wondering how your family deals with it!

I absolutely love your easy, cute ideas. I will definitely remember them. My next little guy in line reacts to gluten for sure. God bless!

Thank you for the awesome idea of doing stations at home, in the dark, with flashlights. My kiddos are going to love that....I just have to replace a gazillion flashlight batteries first! Half of my kids are just too young to handle actually going to stations at church, so I am excited to give the flashlight version a try.

Oh, the bed bugs make me cringe. When hugely pregnant with #8, my oldest daughter brought home scabies from her youth group's trip to Washington, D.C., for the Pro-Life March. I was even more stressed out because I was having a home birth!!! I am just so sorry you are going through this. Prayers coming your way! Something that really helped the scabies finally disappear (we somehow missed one of those critters and had to treat ourselves twice) was using diamataceous earth (food grade) sprinkled into our carpet and on mattresses under mattress pads. Just wanted to throw that tip out there in case it helps with bed bugs! God bless.
