Great post April! I was honestly going to do a follow-up post with unanswered questions, but never got around to it! That movie is equally cute and confusing. Nothing really comes together. Nevertheless, my son loves it too! And has been singing Let It Go since watching the movie at school. Thanks for sharing! You have inspired me to do a follow-up to your follow-up! :)

I was just in the same boat a few months ago - and it was hard to start writing again. And it was for a combination of the reasons you indicated above, but mostly it's because I felt that my writing was not good enough. I felt that no one would care or enjoy what I had to write about. But when I focused on the fact that I just had to write from the heart, whether or not someone enjoyed it, I noticed that But I do believe it exists. And it just takes time to get through it. Great post Darlene! And so on point! It's so true - people don't realize the impact being optimistic makes on your ability to be happy. I truly am an advocate for being happy and I'll go to lengths to make it happen.

Love this post! It is definitely a lot of pressure for a child so young to understand all the minute aspects of Christmas. I was so excited to do so much with my son, and because he's only 2 1/2, he ultimately could care less LOL! We are definitely confusing them, but it's just too much fun to see how their minds work, like Marshall with the 'S' letter to Santa. Love it!

Awww...they are so adorable! I can tell they had so much fun with those shoes!
I too enjoy shopping when I have a little bit of money and no end purchase in mind. It is actually really relaxing. I tend to take advantage of those moments when my son is with his father every other weekend to just go out and walk through the mall, thrift and consignment shops. I always get a good deal, plus I always have something to sell, so it's a win-win every time.
