I don't question why it's news or even that it's an issue. I totally agree with your assessment. What I question is why it's here on this website. It's about as relevant as the guy that called Glenn this morning to complain about flouride in our water. His reply was precious; "The country's on fire and you want to talk about flouride??" If that's not a completely accurate quote, it's close enough.

I've been thinking about your reply for several hours now, and just now got the chance to watch my Beck DVR for the day. The quotes they discussed such as from Old Marine were right on and profoundly represent the postings here! We ARE speaking out though not nearly enough of us or loudly enough. Nevertheless, the job of SCOTUS is to look beyond sentiment straight to the rule of law. We NEED them to do what only a group of life-long appointments with immunity from the wrath of a rogue administration and congress can do. We NEED them to do their job and uphold the Constitution!
