You're right, Obama will probably ignore the upcoming protests, but he's not the only target!
My reasons for attending are:
1. Because I love the USA and I owe it to my countrymen and women who have made my freedom possible.
2. My principles, values and conscience require me to participate.
3. Future generations are depending on the action of the People to secure their future.
4. I'm young and hoping to set an example for my lost generation.

So even if Obama ignores us, I will still be counted as a face in the crowd.
