"probably a jail sentence"
Somehow I doubt it. He is a student at Brockenhurst College, "a centre of educational excellence that was recently ranked 'outstanding' by Ofsted" (Daily Mail) and probably comes from a well connected family. I see he is charged with violent disorder and not the possible charge of attempted murder which would no doubt be the case if he came from a sink-estate. I feel a whitewash coming on.

Repressed Saxon, your anger is totally justified. There is an excellent article in the current issue of the BNP publication, "Identity" as to the real reasons for British involvement in Afghanistan. It has nothing to do with inflicting our own rotten form of democracy on a recalcitrant populous, but everything to do with securing a safe zone for the installation of an oil pipeline to convey fuel to the West. Our troops are not sacrificing life and limb for a cause in which they might believe but simply to make the oil moguls and their political puppets even richer than they already are. It's hard to imagine that a political party that flies under a "socialist" flag would inflict such inhumane injustice on some of it's most patriotic citizens but look at the way our forces are treated before, during, and after combat. Ill-equipped, forgotten and ignored. Viva BNP

Do these burka wearers have to remove them at passport control or are they photographed while they are actually wearing them? I can't believe I'm asking this question, but such is the lunacy in this surreal world. If it wasn't so serious it would be hilarious.

I don't think you can accuse Labour of ignoring immigration, the situation is much worse than that, they actively encouraged it for no better reason than" to rub the Rights' noses in it" Why should we believe they have changed now. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politi...

Mr Mandlespin tries to defend the indefensible. Next it will be all the kings horses and all the kings men, Whatever they try they will never put this Humpty together again Rumpelstiltskin could spin straw into gold but even he would struggle with this one. The TRUTH, they don't like it up 'em

".............when a visit to a few pubs would tell these deluded fools what we want and need."
Trouble is Paul they think they know what we need, and they couldn't give a toss about what we want.

A case of the blind leading the blind!
I recall too that NICE, Labour's quango gatekeepers to NHS treatment, withheld a drug which, prevents people going blind, until they had lost the sight of one eye. The money saved was probably needed for ammunition to shoot civilians in Iraq.
What a legacy of corruption, sleaze, damage and disease this vile government will leave in it's wake.
