The idea that employers must have contingency plans in the work if there is a sudden demand for a union vote goes against the grain of free market thinking.
Personally, I have never once asked about a person's political beliefs or religion in relation to a job. The only question should be their skill. We need labor rules that help preserve this tradition.

Insurance is a mechanism for regulating health care. Insurance was created by progressives to overcome perceived defects with the free market.
A real free market in health care would involve people saving resources then using those resources to care for their health needs such as in the Medical Savings and Loan http://www.MedicalSavingsAndLoan.com

I guess what ticks Obama off is when individuals get bribes, not when groups demand bribes.

Trying to base an intelligent conversation on an absurdist sketch that did not research the issue will lead to naught.
The enemies of the free market play the game where they project a false image on the market, then get students to talk about the false image. I do not think the champions of liberty will win public opinion with the same techniques.
The aim of the social progressive is to transform society by manipulating definitions. The heart of Hegelianism is how rogues can change things into their opposite. The defenders of liberty need to defend definitions ... else lose their freedom.
PS: The Good Samaritan parable was one in which the public and religious officials who were expected to render aid did not and the Samaritan (a free person who was not expected to render aid) did.
Letting the left confuse that parable does nothing positive for the freedom movement. The Good Samaritan parable points to a great paradox of liberty. On the whole free societies do a better job rendering aid than societies in which people are compelled to render aid.
I thumbs-upped the comments of Beefcake and Branden for defending the real definition of terms.

Classical liberal ideas have a strong logical foundation. So it is better to build on real world examples than absurdist sketches or confused metaphors.

During the last half of the Bush Administration (when the recession occurred) the entire world was swing dramatically leftward. This includes the Democratic Party taking both the House and Senate.
Yes, the Democratic Party controlled the US government before the recession.
The crash occurred when it was obvious to all that the left would win a super majority and presidency.
Assuming that companies invest according to expected future earnings, then the fact that the recession occurred during a dramatic swing to the left, then one would conclude that it was the ascendancy of the left that caused the recession.

America was foolish to allow the teacher schools (and now the entire education establishment) to be captured by Marxists.

If organized violence occurs in Egypt, the organizers of the violence are likely waiting for the spotlight to pass.
I hope there is not organized violence.

Any scientist who investigated the climate change objectively was labeled a climate change skeptic and driven from the profession years ago.
