Are you off your medication. Goggle oil from shale and see the problems.
You are deep drilling through ROCK not sand or digging it out by machine in the Alberta Tar Sands.

Do you have any idea how much it would cost and how long it would take to be on stream.

Your do not know anything about the industry....it is easy for you too name call people you do not undestand.

Spend some time and learn about the industry before you shoot off your mouth.

You Yanks think anything that would help your nation is suppressed.. Bush has only been out of office for months and wanted to drill in a game reserve in Alaska of all places.
Do you think the idiot suppressed the infomation about oil from shale?

Read a book.........learn somthing !

By world standards it is tiny and the time it would take to be online would be years.

It is from shale and the price of oil would have to raise to a point that would not be good for the country to extract it.

You need a little thing called a pipeline to get it into production.

Oil in shale is very expensive to extract and the world is full of shale fields.

Shale oil too deep and expensive to produce and too costly to develope.
The Denver area sits on shale fields but it is too deep.
