One of the best features of the kindle fire is if you have more then one in your household or on the same account, you can use the apps you buy for one on the other without having to pay a second time. As the Apps are stored on your cloud drive and free to retrieve at anytime.

Every time a counter protest group has formed to counter protest, the police have asked them to leave. And being law abiding citizens, they have left.

Every time I read the word solidarity when it comes to these people. I replace it in my mind with "Please arrest us and pelt us with tear gas and rubber bullets like every other protest in the Country, we feel neglected"

Could just be me though.

Interesting how the activists in Portland say that moving indoors is the only realistic option, when the winter here is very mild compared to what people are facing in Colorado and back East.

Maybe they should all just end the protest and go home?

And don't forget, to get limited by the rules of every site you log into. I love the ones that don't let you use more then 6 characters.

My question is, how badly have they destroyed the parks in downtown Portland due to their occupation. I imagine that the grass is dying under the tents already. Not to mention all the stakes in the ground to hold up their tents/tarps.

Isn't that the reason it's illegal to camp in the park, to preserve it for everyone?

I did in fact read this story, yesterday when I made my original post. However they have just been going into the original story and updating the details. Previously it was saying that the road was blocked by protesters cars and barricades. And this morning they updated it to say that the road is now open.

Just KATU trying to make us look stupid. :)

Send in the tow trucks and move the protesters cars to open up this road. They are breaking the law. Anyone tries to stop you, arrest them. Problem solved. If they want to protest they can do it legally and without disrupting other people's lives.

And all the construction, and movies at least take the time to get the proper permits that legally allow them to block roads. If the "movement" took the time to follow the law, they might get more respect.

You have to remember that he didn't have a trial, he didn't try to fight and say that he was innocent in all of this. He accepted that he made a mistake, and offered to plead guilty for a shorter sentence. So if you want to be upset at the fact that he is only serving 3 years, be upset with the prosecutor who offered him such a lenient sentence in exchange for forgoing the trial.

And even if he is only serving 3 years, he has to live with this for the rest of his life.
