Alot of what you need is personal preference and dictated by where you live or where you are when you have to bug. the best ccomment I heard was KISS( Keep it simple stupid) there are so many different scenario's that you could talk about for months even years. For example(Y2K) turned out to be nothing. All the gear I bought most of it never got used. Made excellent trading fodder and yard sale goods, so wasn't total loss. Always remember Knowledge is Power!
