Even though I followed the law to the letter, dotted my "i's" and crossed my "T's", I can not yet apply for citizenship due to a back-log from 2002. Giving illegal aliens drivers licenses, health care and a fast track to citizenship, to say the least, pisses me off. I pay taxes, a lot of taxes and proud to do so. It makes me think, in a small way that I'm paying my way. I donate to USO and 4 other wounded soldier's charity. I could never repay them enough for what they do for me, the American people and Freedom. They paid the ultimate price for the freedom I see slipping away.
This is the last free country in the world, please do not dishonor the fallen and the veterans of the past & present wars, they fight & die for freedom. God Bless America.

I am a Canadian (at the moment) and have lived in Houston for the last 9 years. I left Canada because one morning I woke up to a national metric system. I did want it but I could not say that; some people in Ottawa decided that for me. The Health care system is a joke and I still had to pay $200/month for it; IT'S NOT FREE. I was not allowed to own a hand gun even though I fished in the Rockies. (grizzly country) I had to register my hunting rifles & shotguns. I have lived in 5 different countries and America is BY FAR the best country in the world. However, I fear for freedom. This is the last FREE country in the world, look around!
