He was kind enough to get ahold of me on Facebook and send me a framed copy of my favorite of them. It hangs in my hallways with other family pictures now and I truly treasure it. Gratitude forever.

I really really hated Russell Crowe as Javert. Everyone else was fine. ANNE HATHAWAY WAS AMAZING. Hugh Jackman was really good. I don't usually love I Dreamed a Dream, like it's fine but On My Own and Do You Hear the People Sing were always my favorite songs, but Hathaway's version brought tears to my eyes. I was completely blown away. And I liked Cosette, not sure what folks didn't like about her. And YES to the sound effect!!!!!!!!!!!!! My group and the people behind us burst out laughing at that part and yelled a lot of "what the fuck"s because WHY DID THAT EXIST? Unfortunately there were a lot of parts that seemed off to me, so it was really an up and down experience watching it.

I kind of wonder if Mo didn't write that song herself to be perfectly honest with you. Like, I do think it was meant as part apology for his bullshit with Firefly but then it's like he still kind of did it with Horrible, as Mo so brilliantly points out in her song.

So am I the only one who actually likes Dark Willow? I'm a sucker for powerful, magical, evil women. Maybe because so many awesome women are painted as that and so part of me wants to cheer for all of them. Like in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe I was rooting for the Witch.... But anyway, I didn't read all the comments but I scanned through the main ones and I definitely didn't see anyone jumping on this train, so, #foreveralone with my #unpopularopinions, I guess.
