My apple id email is in the imessage sys prefpane along with my number, and the receive at is pointed to my email. Is there something else I should be doing?

Push notifications are working fine. I had it working on my 3gs-5.0.1 unlocked to tmobile. I used SAM to get them working. Im thinking it has something to do with the SAM unlock?

Hey guys. I have an iphone4-5.1 unlocked on tmobile with SAM. Crazy, been jailbreaking/unlocking for years and this is NICE. All's well, except imessages isnt working? Getting red "Not Delivered!" Message. Regular MMS is working fine. I've tried quite a few things, Turn imessage off and on, reboot, signed out of my other devices. Any ideas? Anyone else is seeing this?

You need to edit your host file on your pc. Goggle the error. Instructions are out there.

Hey, thanks, yeah I just saw the update is called "Corona 5.0.1 Untethered". I was talking about what was posted in the blog from the DevTeam above?:

Some of you are using a hybrid 5.0/5.0.1 configuration. If so, do not attempt to install this untether over that setup! You will most likely get into a reboot cycle. Do a sync and fresh restore to 5.0.1 then install the jailbreak + untether.

Thats kind of what I was asking I guess. Is there a way to tell if thats what I have? Im unlocked and working with the ipad bb, but I would like to be untethered. Just afraid to not get my unlcock back.

Is there anyway to tell if Im a hybrid 5.0/5.0.1 configuration? Im at 5.0.1 and unlocked, tethered? Cydia says it wants to upgrade, with mobile substrates and UIKit tools? Im afraid to let it upgrade.

Hello everyone. Have a few questions. I have a pretty new 3gs. ATnT locked, and updated. Vrs 5.0.1 Firmware 05.16.05. Serial 88122. I would like to jailbreak and unlock @ 5.0.1. I have a working 3gs on 4.3, but this was given to me so I thought I would roll the dice,.....maybe. :) Pretty sure the only option is iPad bb, on 5.0.1.? No blobs saved. Is it possible, and if so do you flash the ipad bb, then use a cooked ispw? Im a little confused on that. I see the option in redsnow to install the ipad bb, and it also has an option there for a custom build, but wont let me select the one I built. Kinda lost, sorry.

A few questions:

First off I have a 3gs, jailbroken and unlocked iso 4. Running great, and love it.

I have 2 old 3gs that are also jailbroken and unlockd 3.1.2. I am wanting to get rid of them, but keep em unlocked and jb. Should I upgrade them to 4 or leave em at 3.1.2? Heard 3g's are really slow with vrs 4 installed. If I want to leave at 3.1.2 whats the best way to wipe them out, but keep em jb and unlocked?

If I upgrade to 4 what's the best way to do it?
