Personally I think he should be allowed to BUT I think the family of the recipient has the right to know they came from a murderer. And I think current donation rule prevent that don't they? (I could be wrong)

I am not normally that aggressive about posts on here but the subject is one that is very near and dear to my heart and strikes a nerve. I will say I do think locater devices should be mandatory though. No matter how experienced/prepared the climbers are, knowing the location of someone can make all the difference in the world during an emergency.

I do a lot of baking and freezing of stuff. For breakfast its usually oatmeal or some kind of coffee cake or rolls. My husband and i eat leftovers for lunch, and the boys sandwichs, fruits, veggies.
My sons are 9 and 10 and I don't have an open kitchen policy. We eat 3 meals a day, and I limit what they can snack on in between. They don't go hungry , but they also don' t have free run of the kitchen like so many of thier friends do. That right there saves a ton of money!
I use a lot of coupons, but will not use a coupon unless the item is on sale (and if its an item we will actually use) then i try to stock up.
We also grow/pick our own fruits and veggies in the summer and freeze them. We picked a ton of wild blackberries this summer and my boys snack on those like mad. I also buy whats in season. I also have a food dehydrator and use that a lot, and buy whats on sale and dry that.
Our bill has gone up some since my parents moved in with us last month but not by that much. They do buy thier own groceries but I still try to cook for them, and we still have plenty left.

I honestly feel sorry for her, being that young and already being entangled in the credit card nightmare.
We are not on food stamps (but we would qualify if we applied) and I feed a family of 4 on less than $150 a month! It takes a bit of work but I still manage to do it, and we don't eat a lot of processed prepackaged junk either. Personally I think people on food stamps should be taught how to get the most for thier money, how to shop sales, use coupons etc.
Honestly, I can't believe a single person qualifies for that much in food stamps per month!

They went to turn on the cold water on their kitchen sink and nothing happened. The hot water was still working.

If it wasn't so freaking cold right now it wouldn't make a difference.
As for my neighbors breathing it, they all know there is a standing invitation to come over and stay here if the power goes out. We have the only working fireplace in the neighborhood.

I really feel sorry for the kids of the family that complained, they are probably being teased, tormented and alienated, all because thier parents felt that thier 1 complaint over ruled everyone elses feelings.
Remember when people had manners and tact and could allow others to celebrate in thier own ways without ruining it for others?
