Basically there weren't comments of incoherent ramblings of childish fan, all of the negative reviews were well constructed as you said. Really sad that the blog post got deleted. Really SAD, even Youtubers can take negative comments.

Dan was one of my favorite writers, the fact that he deleted the older post just because of the negative reviews is remarkably SAD. No worries, I'll repost my comments and replies here, you can keep deleting.

A writer can't like the fact that a more mature audience is into his show, and then suddenly mock them saying that the romance and the drama, which is BTW the thing that gets older audiences, is stupid. This episode was pointless, Dan really shouldn't have talked about the Seddie vs. Creddie on the show. It felt weird. And even more importantly, he shouldn't have made fun of the fans saying by we don't have lives.

You're so right dude! I think only older people actually realize that. I watch iCarly not only because of the "pointless" comedy, I watch iCarly because it's a TV show, and when I watch a TV show I want to see drama, comedy, romance and with all that a story line. If I want to watch pointless comedy only, I got YouTube and it's free.

If you want an adult audience, you're going to have to have themes, plots and stories which develop. Adults don't care about burning a PICKLE. A pickle being blackened? I am not laughing. I am laughing at character interaction which is MEANINGFUL. We want meaningful things, not just shallow "comedy"!

An adult audience wants more than that! As others have pointed out Dan; you can't pick and choose. You need to stop toying with people.

No he lost all his credibility by deleting an entire post just because it had negative comments. Most people including were complaining about the fact that absolutely nothing happened. No Seddie, no Creddie, not a single character/plot development. It was a movie, it should have had at least some of it. Compare this episode with, iKiss, iSaved Your Life, iSpeed Date, even thought the two last ones were Creddie, they were amazing because they had some character development. Lots o people are upset that they pretty much said the fans have no life.

Agreed. Although I'm Seddie, that's not the reason I'm mad at the show. This was a movie and was heavily advertised, I'd expect at least some plot development. But as far as I know iCarly apparently has NO plot at all! They don't even air the episodes according to their production code! See this show might have started as some little kiddie show, but it's something much bigger now. You don't advertise on Jimmy Kimmel and George Lopez targeting on 8-12 yo kids right? If this show is being targeted now as a family show (G rated) it should behave like one, it should have character and plot development, it should have romance, drama.. Of course comedy is good but not a single show stands only on it.

That is definitely a plus, but as stated, not the reason most of us watch the show. YouTube is full of pointless comedy already, when I go to watch some cable TV show I expect a little more than that.

"Don't worry about those questions, don't worry about anything at all. Just sit, watch and laugh. Don't even think, just laugh." I'm quoting because that's the message I got from the show.
