My very best faraway friend, my soul person, my platonic forever mate, arrived in my city on Wednesday and will be here until AUGUST for an internship between semesters of law school. I GET LIKE THREE MONTHS OF PURE BEST FRIEND TIME! Anyway when we reunited we basically could not stop hugging and holding hands and all that jazz, my face hurt from smiling, everything is right with the world etc etc YES

this is kind of an open thread topic but I just need a lil reassurance that it's OK and normal and not a Failure to fuck up at work sometimes!!!!

I am not gonna get fired or anything and nobody is even like THIS IS YOUR FAULT but I know it's on me and I'm making it a failure of my character which is silly, so I'm just reaching out for some Toastie support. thanks all.

Haha, when people who move here complain about no one making eye contact on the streets, I (a native) am like....do you really WANT to make eye contact with EVERY SINGLE PERSON on like, Market Street? Why? Who has the energy?! Also as a chick I feel like it's the easiest way to avoid weird dudes by far....
