There is a significant difference between killing a suspect in a crime and an individual who has joined a force at war with the United States. He was an enemy combatant and was not entitled to anymore protection than any other combatant in any war in history. During World War II the Gernman army contained several American sodiers in it, usually sons of German who returned home from America before the war began. When the invasion of Normandy began, no effort was made to determine if any Americans were in danger on the German side. They died along with their German comrades. Under your left/libertarian theory this was murder since the Allies knew their were citizens of their countries in the line of fire. How many Americans would you have die to protect the "constitutional rights" of someone who, by his actions, has rejected his American citizenship. This was a simple killing of an enemy soldier, no different than the killing of Japanese Admiral Yamamoto in WWII.
This is a poem quoted by Winston Churchill in his book "The Gathering Storm" I thought it describes America very well today
Who is in charge of the clattering train?
The axles creak and the couplings strain,
And the pace is hot, and the points are near,
And Sleep has deadened the driver’s ear;
And the signals flash through the night in vain,
For Death is in charge of the clattering train.
We need politicians who will reverse the corruption of the left, not just stop it for a few years as they usually do. We a president and congress that will begin to dismantle this unconstitutional government, restor our freedoms, restore the free enterprise system and pay off our debts. This struggle has just begun and I, for one, will, never, never, never quit until freedom is restored!
