I think Midlife Crisis is fine, however I don't think all Midlife transition is actually a crisis. For instance I (wife) distinctly remember in my thirties going through a midlife transistion. I evaluated my life, decided I liked myself, experimented with some harmless flirtations and knew that I was happy at home, etc. My husband on the other hand had a midlife crisis about 1½ ago, complete with crazed behavior, threats to leave the marriage, a short fling with a friends wife, etc. My point is if "Midlife Crisis" is only used to describe true crisis episodes then why change the name? Certainly if we're talking about a 22 year old guy who can't handle a new baby in the house, teenage crisis's or a 70 year old who still combs over then... that's not midlife and they deserve a label of their own!
Too bad she's not still alive Fr33think3r - you could of offered your children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews up for her to "practice her rehabilitation" on. I don't damn her soul to hell - hopefully she made herself right with God. But, I also believe there are people that don't deserve to be back on the streets. Someone who beats a 2 month old to death is one of those people.
I'm sorry but a good deal of them DESERVE Cruel & Unusual Punishment!! Change the law.
Who said anything about rehabilitation? She murdered a TWO MONTH OLD BABY. Hello... what is there to rehabilitate? They should of saved time & tax money and just bought her a rope.
Perhaps you should enlighten yourself with news that's not Glenn Beck or some other nut. We are, according to all statistical data officially OUT, of this recession. Duly noted that it will take time for all economic indicators to register that. I agree though, your reputation is at stake by admitting your a registered Republinut. Good thing your real name isn't on here.
First off I'd be buying some serious lottery tickets because numbers are obviously their game! Second I'd be getting some better birth control.
In truth the original Food Stamp Program began towards the end of the Great Depression. Families could not in fact 'take care of their own' because hunger, poverty, drought, job loss, etc. were all wide spread. I do agree that IF extended families CAN help - they should but then again the Bible calls us all to be brothers & sisters - so in turn then we should all be willing to help where ever there is need. My concern would be that the "need" is legitimate and "help" is not going to those who COULD be helping themselves.
The "first part of the great recession" ? Obviously you're a spoon fed Republican nutjob.
