unfortunately his reponses are seemingly measured in the light of political expediency, not what is best for the country.
Our founders stated that in order for the union to survive , it must be governed by righteous men. Unfortunately there are very few and far between , and our current president definitely does not fall into this category.
it's a sad situation for the future of our country.
i just hope it isn't too late. ( i don't mean to sound fatalistic, sometimes it just seems as if the challenge to correct all the "hope and change" that is coming our way is a bit overwhelming at times)

i don't know about the rest of you , but i like my guns, i like the fact that i live in a country that allows me to have my guns. i also am tired of feeling like a criminal for owning guns and exercising my rights as a law abiding citizen of the United States.
Don't get me wrong, i could care less about what the media says my perception of gun ownership "should be", or what is "politically correct " at the moment.
i just am frustrated by the fact that i as a "conscientious law abiding ,responsible citizen" , feel like i have to feel like a criminal for exercising my "rights" as a citizen.
it frustrates me even more to see the politicians in Washington abdicating all of our rights to gun ownership because of the money and influence of the anti gun lobbyists, without consideration of the constitutionality of the laws that they are so eager to enact.
i was always under the impression that they swore an oath to uphold and protect the constitution when they were sworn into office.
i can not understand what part of "Shall Not Be Infringed " do they not understand.
i am no lawyer, but even i can look up the definition of " shall not be infringed" and find out that it means that their will be NO impediments to gun ownership . Am i missing something here ? please let me know. if i am please explain and i won't be so frustrated.
i look at the arguments for and against allowing a civil population the ability to provide for their own self defense and logic tells me that it is illogical to take away the ability of a nation to defend itself. ( gun facts pdf. NRA,Many others)
i also was under the impression that this right was for the people to defend against a government gone out of control (primary reason for our separation from the British in the first place), not just self defense.

i guess that make me a right wing extremist ( better start looking out for the Feds). oh well at least i know what i believe in. it IS worth standing up for.

i'm sure many of us feel the same way. i know i do.
i believe the idea of our diversity as being our greatest strength is what has made this country survive , even through the toughest of times. i also believe it is best expressed in the motto " E Pluribus Unum ".
many ideas, many experiences,many possibilities , all joined to succeed.
we are all allowed to be individuals, but as a nation ,all fight for the common good.
i also believe that by remaining true to our founding fathers vision of establishing and maintaining our country based on their visions and principles we will succeed.
it's when we deviate and follow the selfish interests , like our current politicians and elites that we fail, and that we stray from the Divine course which i believe this great country was founded.unfortunately it seems that the only way they can feel important is to criticize and defame people whose opinion differs from theirs. talk about intolerance . i only wish they were open to true honest dialog ( without the need to feel defensive about their position) they might find out that they have more in common with us than they think.

The truth.
i would like to be told the truth by our president and representatives.
i'm not a child i can handle it. i do not need to be sheltered from it. i actually would be better off as an individual and as a citizen, if i knew what was going on. (honestly , without any spin).
i would definitely respect my government more and trust the individuals who represent me more if they just told me the truth.
i don't care how bad it is, trust me my imagination can probably create a scenario as bad or worse than the actual truth really is.
all i want is to be told the truth.
it has always been my belief that this nation has been founded on the truth, without it our Judicial system is a farce. If we are being lied to , as a nation , by those that have sworn to represent us and uphold our laws then we are lost as a nation.
i can only pray that this is not the case.
So my last and final addition to our wish list is a request for the truth.

administration re: Obama's Bowing to the Saudi King, is making me sick. Don't we have "A FINANCIAL CRISIS " that needs tending to? Is this what we find important now ?
i keep hearing the "SPIN" . "he wasn't bowing , he is taller"... "he's setting a new tone for our relations...",
"...it wasn't a bow ..."
i'm sorry, i saw the video. He DID Bow .
is it me , i was raised in a household that taught "Spinning " the truth was called A LIE.
Where have our morals and integrity gone ?
