Endings make me *very* grumpy, so I might be frowning and crossing my arms, but I am also secretly beaming with gratitude and reflecting on this beautiful space, and what it's meant to me. I am very thankful to those who worked so hard to make this place exist and I am so excited to see where the now TheToast-less road leads us all. See you soon.

I also read that apparently* she stopped Tennessee from playing UConn because she objected to UConn's homophobic recruiting practices! Made me love her even more.

*she never publicly stated this was the case, but the rumor has persisted all these years and she's never denied it

Right? Thankfully it stuck around long enough for me to inch a little closer so I could be extra sure as to what I was seeing :) It was a good day for colorful birds - I also saw several bluebirds and a scarlet tanager.

Happy Birthday!!! Great thread idea.

After owning a kayak for a year with no way to haul it to water, I finally used it yesterday on the Milwaukee River. I also saw TWO owls and a baltimore oriole - I've never seen either of those before, so it was a good birding day. I was pumped.
