The United States is reviving a law enforcement group to investigate those it designates as domestic terrorists, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
Events like the April 2013 bombing of the Boston Marathon, in which the attackers appeared to be influenced by extremists abroad, would not fall under the jurisdiction of the group, named the Domestic Terrorism Executive Committee.
"We must also concern ourselves with the continued danger we face from individuals within our own borders who may be motivated by a variety of other causes from anti-government animus to racial prejudice," Holder said.

In its first major announcement of the 2014 upfront season, NBC has placed series orders for four pilots -- the romantic sitcom "Marry Me," in addition to three dramas, "Odyssey," "State of Affairs" and "Allegiance," revolving around spies and terrorism.

Pope Francis called Friday for governments to redistribute wealth to the poor in a new spirit of generosity to help curb the "economy of exclusion" that is taking hold today.
Latin America's first pope has frequently lashed out at the injustices of capitalism and the global economic system that excludes so much of humanity, though his predecessors have voiced similar concerns.
On Friday, Francis called for the United Nations to promote a "worldwide ethical mobilization" of solidarity with the poor in a new spirit of generosity.
He said a more equal form of economic progress can be had through "the legitimate redistribution of economic benefits by the state, as well as indispensable cooperation between the private sector and civil society."

The NYPD News tweeted earlier today that they wanted people to share their photos of themselves with NYPD. They asked people to use the hashtag #myNYPD. They hoped to have a lot of smiling faces showing the nice side of the NYPD. However, it did not take long before the feed filled up with images and videos of police brutality.

We all started out on the Glenn Beck site. When the boards were shut down we made our way to the other site. Many of us have gotten to know each other well. I don't think many people were friends with the site owner. She wanted to please the people associated with the news show crew and did what they told her. They didn't want certain people on the site or certain subjects discussed on the site. Anyone associated was banned.
She wanted to write a book with regular people telling their stories of how they "woke up" and saw what was going on with the government. She was upset because I declined to work on the book. She wouldn't have liked what I wrote anyway because it would have involved CT. After that she did not like me.
