You're welcome! I agree with you about pilot episodes. Sometimes they just cram what they can in to hook you. It really does take several shows to really see if it's worth becoming a regular.
Come back to tell me what you thought when you see it.
Yes - the left handed comment made me laugh too. As though it was the weirdest thing about "Buck" they could think of. When I first heard of the concept, I got a little nervous. How can you add humor to a very serious mental disorder w/out making fun of someone? But, I really believe they pulled it off and did a great job.
I've considered that myself - at least the part of Izzie having a tumor. I've also considered the surgery not going so successfully.... Karev is so complicated & i've met many men like him. I like that as well.
That's good to hear. I have the feeling NBC is a little trigger happy. & ABC seems to be as well. Not happy with them right now.
I'll watch it, but after the latest rash of cancellations I'm leary of getting attached to anything else.
Yeah - it seems like they don't really have much balance.... was there pressure put on them by advertisers that you know of or just that they can't seem to make up their minds?
& now that Dr. Hahn is gone (which really upset me as well, I liked the story line) - I wonder if that was due to people's uncomfortableness w/ a lesbian relationship being so explicit or if they really thought the two didn't have chemistry. I just wonder...
I know. & I'm pretty clear (for those who spend a little time talking to me) how I feel about those (or any) prejudices. I know you know that I am very much against prejudice for sexual orientation. But that doesn't take away from his talent as an actor. It might detour his career and the consequences might impact how far he goes & how long he lasts - but I do have to show respect for talent when I see it. I just wonder if his removal was an overreaction or due to his inability to keep mouth shut & play nice.
Yes - I wondered if he was hard to work with but he is a good actor & it hasn't felt the same. I didn't know if it had to do with writers strike or was a combo of many things. The latter- I suspect, is closer to the truth. But I do miss seeing him on the show.
I have to agree with you on that. Both her and Chandra are a cut above. And I look forward to seeing those movies you mentioned. I'll have to go check it out.
