For those out there who believe the constitution needs to be "updated", let me try to explain something. The Constitution was written by men with principles that were and are bigger than themselves. The nice thing about Principles is that they never need to be "Updated". The most important ones have survived the test of time. One does not change a Principle to suit a certain situation. Rather one must adapt the situation to suit the Principles of the Constitution. This is the reason we will always have enemies in the world. This is the reason we are challenged across the world. We do the things that are tough because it is right thing to do. When you give up your Principles, the line between right and wrong disappears. All men in this country are created equal, after that it's up to you. Those who believe they are entitled to everything simply because they are Americans misunderstand what it means to be an American. We are the greatest people in the world, not because we give hand outs to every one, but because we give every an opportunity to not need hand outs. When you cease to try because you are content to live off of someone else's hard work, you cease to live according to the principles America was founded on; therefore, you're only an American because you live here, and there's no pride to be taken in that. I do not want what you have earned, I do not want what is rightfully yours. Rather I want to keep what I have earned and what is rightfully mine. You owe me nothing and I owe you nothing. If you want the best this country has to offer, do not demand it, work for it. Set the example for your friends and family. Live by Principles, and you will reap the rewards. If you stand for nothing, everything will be taken from you in time.
