...so our country should spend money on someone who has little chance of winning, to get their "20 minutes of fame" as you stated in your comment, and no one has a right to comment on it...right? When you put yourself in the public eye, you will be criticized and assessed, especially if money is being spent on you to represent a nation, so no..it's not about giving somebody a bligh on their "20 mins of fame"...

Thank goodness someone said it, I'm not denying that there were some racist trolls who commented on her photos as well, but they were in the minority. The majority of people were concerned with the photos, which were NOT in the back of some album on her facebook page as the article stated, but were originally released as the official miss world photos on the miss world website, which is where most people saw them and got upset. Athaliah is not a bad looking girl at all, however the photos really did her a disservice, if they were in fact just some experimental thing, they should not have been submitted as the official photos on the miss world website.
