I'm happy that change is coming. I hope the change is for the better. My credit has taken hits for circumstances beyond my control and that had nothing to do with unpaid bills or the inability to pay bills.

How do you know the intruder didn't have any plans of doing harm? And what if one of the household members (perhaps a child) caught him off guard? It could have gotten very ugly.

So am I to infer that instructors no longer have the right to set standards of conduct for their classes? What about the distraction to other students?

I agree.

There's not enough information here. Is it only the zip line that will cost? The park will still be free? If so, I'm o.k. with it if the park gets reimbursed for the use of the property.

I don't see how a zip line will impact the part all that much except for more visitors.

Remember, carelessness and inexperience are the leading causes of boating accidents and fatalities in state waters.

Umn, could that be because most of us don't spend a lot of time on boats? It takes practice to be really good at just about anything.

A friend who was a foster parent began homeschooling four foster kids with learning disorders. He identified each boy's special needs and accommodated them and those four boys did very well. Is it expensive to work with kids who have special needs? Absolutely. But the cost for not doing so is so much higher.

I believe that kids with special needs should be in special classes. However, it is my understanding that in the past, once a kid was placed in a special needs program, it was very difficult for him to leave it. He was labeled.

There should be a way for children to get the special needs programs when they need them and regular programs when they don't. For example a child with a reading disability but who is good in math (such as my younger son) should have special ed classes for reading but be able to participate in non-special ed math classes.

Let's have balance.

When my son was in the sixth grade (about 7 years ago), his teacher told us that he would have to eliminate his social studies program (along with other non-essential programs) in order to teach the WASL. If it wasn't on the WASL, he couldn't teach it.

Teaching a test. How is that for learning.
