Two things... One, it's should never hit 80 degrees in September in Seattle...Period. Two, there should be no complaining about our summer, so far. Mid 70's is something no one can deny is pretty darn comfortable...especially since most of us don't have air conditioning. Any higher and we'll get grumbly :D

Most people in Western WA don't have air conditioning, compared to the rest of the nation. That's why anything much past 80º is "sweltering".

To my knowledge, none of US West Coast/I-5 corridor major cities set any record highs in July. I'd be interested to see the data, to appease my speculation. I would also venture to assume that Boise, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Spokane did not set any record highs either.

That would be quite a change. It would be interesting to experience if not for the fires it would cause.

Sounds beautiful! I've always felt that the northern half of South America would have the most perfect weather available anywhere in the world. Assuming you stay at reasonable elevation levels of course. (0-1,000 ft. above sea level)

Makes me curious about Ireland's forecasting, as far as English(mostly) speaking countries go. These others are funny. :)
