The Bible says that unbelievers "Suppress the truth in unrighteousness."
So yes, they do know about God. They know enough to be "without excuse" on the day of judgement. It's silly of us to assume they know nothing of God. Everything within them hates God and that is why they do not repent and turn to Jesus in faith.

If he believes that morality comes from Humanity. then he is just avoiding the question. Where does Humanity come from or does societies have an objective or subjective view of morals?

Also, that doesn't matter.
Whether or not our country was founded by a few or a great amount of deist does not make it correct.

I listened to the sermon and I was still quite unclear about his view on it. I cannot say for sure what he thinks. Which is why I asked him for clarification.
