Have you?? I'm pretty sure there are people there of ALL races. If there was a tv channel "White Entertainment Television" it would be racist. But "BET" isn't racist at all. See the double standard there? Political meetings? Have you seen our president? Did you not read in this story where the state rep is an African American? The point is, if there was a club for only white people out there doing good, or scholarships for white students, or white history month it would be seen as racist. That is a double standard at its best.

"It's alright for blacks or Latinos or anybody to have their own groups," she said. "It's alright for churches to adopt a highway. But if white folks stick together, we're racist."

I agree with her that it's often seen as racist when white people form groups or clubs. HOWEVER, forming a group or a club that promotes the hate of another race isn't right. If the KKK was just a group of white people who sat around having a cigar and whiskey, whatever. But they are so much more hateful, violent, and damaging to society than that.
