You are welcome on both counts: your blog and my post. For Acme, I suggest getting your Q as early as they are available. Just camp out in the Mountain Village. By the by, Suede at Capella is a great hang. And the pizza at La Pizzeria is very good. Also, 9545 is a wonderful meal. More if you need it...
Thank you. But the wright up was easy given the talent
Ted. The feeling is mutual. We owe you big too. You facilitated our interview with rock legend Joe Cocker and now you have turned us on to a rock star chef in Dava Parr. Not to mention you rescued our rescue dog from herself. Gina sends a giant lick.
Dava appears to be a very popular lady whose reputation for excellence seems to be well deserved. Clint and I are fans-in-waiting. Our early December outing to Paonia should do the trick.
Thank you for the feedback -- pun intended. We are looking forward to a trip to Paonia in early December to meet Dava and indulge. Your words put an exclamation point on our intention. We are looking forward to more from Dava on Telluride Inside... and Out. Stay tuned.
As an owner of Telluride Inside... and Out, I appreciate your in-depth comment. I second that emotion as a Viniyoga instructor in my other life. Gary Kraftsow of the American Viniyoga Institute is my teacher. As a member of the board of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and as a long-time teacher of deeply trained Yoga therapists, Gary is working hard to shine a light on that dimly lit terrain called "yoga therapy." Yes there are professional and ethical issues, largely due to a lack of standardized certifications. But stay tuned. There are development afoot that might fix what is broken within the next few years.
You may be a non-resident of Telluride, but you are a cyber neighbor at the very least. If there were more people like you in the world, paying tribute where tribute is due, expressing positive feelings in general, perhaps we would not be in the mess we're in. Thank you for commenting.
Please let Chef Jonathan know what we thought of his food and his hospitality
Kristine. Thanks for the attagirl on the Viniyoga certification. It was a long journey, but worth the price of the ticket. And we were all in an altered state at Alla Famiglia.
